![]() Within the frame of this article, the authors describe an on-line smart bin monitoring system. The sensors can be mounted over any open dustbins. Note: The Dustbins are not included in this kit. Thus the system automates garbage segregation and level monitoring to help counter the garbage crisis using IOT. The amounts of the garbage will be monitored by sensors, pollution level by moisture sensor, and an odor sensor. This indication can be used to alert the authorities that the garbage bins need to be emptied. The collected data can also be used to find the optimal path for the truck’s drivers. With smart waste management, no need for trucks to come every day and check every single dustbin if it is full or not as in the traditional situation, therefore the human power, time, cost, and spreading of toxic gas will be reduced. It allows trash collectors to plan their daily/weekly pick up schedule. The fourth industrial revolution offers new technologies and solutions to increase efficiency, availability, flexibility, and decrease the economical footprint of manufacturing and service processes. Using that data and as the bins are containing GSM module we can give an alert signal to the municipal web server then optimize waste collection efficient routes, sufficient number of trucks and labors. What our system does is it gives a real time indicator of the garbage level in a trashcan at any given time using weight and volume (solar) sensors. The main theme of the work is to develop a smart intelligent garbage alert system for a proper garbage management. The traditional way of manually monitoring the wastes in waste bins is a cumbersome process and utilizes more human effort, time and cost which can easily be avoided with our present technologies. We are living in an age where tasks and systems are fusing together with the power of IOT to have a more efficient system of working and to execute jobs quickly! With all the power at our finger tips this is what we have come up with. Network was developed to automate and to easily monitor the garbage. Bins Monitoring System Using Wireless Sensor. The solar panels harness solar energy and use sensors to continually compact the waste that is deposited, increasing the capacity by up to 700, reducing waste collection by up to 85. To avoid all such hazardous scenario and maintain public cleanliness and health this work is mounted on a smart garbage system. SmartTrash can monitor any type of trash compactor, as well as balers, augur compactors, precrushers and compactors with integrated bin or cart lifters. The project entitled SPAMAST Smart Garbage. Another issue is in the waste management is having more trucks and human resources than needed. This garbage monitoring system helps solve this problem as an ultrasonic device on top of a garbage bin will detecting and collect the data that the volume of the waste product has reached its maximum value from its threshold value and then, transmit the status to mobile phone via SMS. These in turn leads to various hazards such as bad odor & ugliness to that place which may be the root cause for spread of various diseases. Sometime the garbage collector truck not sufficient for collecting all the garbage. The key issue in the waste management is that the garbage bin at public places gets overflowed well in advance before the commencement of the next cleaning process. Waste management is one of the primary problem that the world faces irrespective of the case of developed or developing country.
